The European Investigation Order
On the 27th of July, Theresa May answered questions regarding the European Investigation Order. There were many interesting points raised by various MPs from across the political spectrum, which highlighted some of the flaws with the EIO.
Mark Reckless, a Conservative MP and member of the Better Off Out campaign, asked the Home Secretary whether the EIO would allow European authorities the power to order an investigation against British citizens.
