Tim Aker went to what is arguably the best university in the world – Nottingham – and read History and Politics.  After graduating he worked for the TaxPayers’ Alliance as Grassroots Coordinator and now works for an MEP.  He has written about American politics on his seldom updated blog www.timaker.blogspot.com. Alexander Boot was born in Russia and educated at Moscow University.  For a long time he combined writing for various publications with a successful business career. He is the author of How the West Was Lost (2006), God and Man According to Tolstoy (2009), The Crisis Behind Our Crisis (2011) and co-author of A Nation That Forgot God (2010). Donna Edmunds is the Director of Progressive Vision, a libertarian think tank that focuses on personal freedoms and the nanny state. Prior to this she worked in the offices of Therese Coffey MP and Roger Helmer MEP, spending 18 months in Brussels, an experience she describes as ‘scarily eye-opening’. Roger Helmer MEP is a Conservative MEP for the East Midlands region. He is  a self-described Eurosceptic and supporter of the Better Off Out campaign. John Muir is a freelance photojournalist who’s been published in The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail, The Guardian, and the Geographical Magazine. At various times in his career he has been an armoured tank troop commander, advertising agent, teacher, merchant banker and broadcaster in Africa, organiser of exhibitions in Azerbaijan, and a publisher and photojournalist.
