DO YOUR BIT

Things you can do to help:

Find out what your MP is up to in the House of Commons

Write to your MP or other elected representative

You must be determined not to be fobbed off.  Feel free to use TFA briefing papers – they are carefully researched and can be relied upon for accuracy.

Write to your local newspaper and/or contact your local radio station:

to publicise the fact that you are going to meet the MP and the reason for doing so.

to report on your meeting with the MP, regardless of the outcome – we need to keep on drawing people's attention to our concerns and this is a good way of doing it.

to urge others to follow suit – a stream of deputations visiting the MP's surgery will make an even bigger impact.
to express your concern even if you haven't seen the MP.
Deliver leaflets, put up posters in windows - TFA tea towels.

Use "Keep our Freedom" and CREC self adhesive stickers on vehicles and in public places and pass on TFA fact sheets to the unconverted.

Use the Internet to spread the word.
Challenge your local MP to a public debate.
Try to get the local press or media to support the event – TFA will find a speaker to oppose.
Take advantage of public gatherings, such as shows, fetes, car boot sales etc. to talk to the general public and distribute literature.
Bombard the Home Secretary with letters and e-mails renouncing European Union citizenship and/or telling him that you will not accept the latest trappings of the Police State which his Government is busy creating - i.e. identity cards.
Her address is: Jacqui Smith, Secretary of State, Home Office, 2 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DF
E-mail: public.enquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
Visit the TFA web site for up to date news about our campaigns and events - if you don't have a computer make use of the facilities in your local library.
Can you think of other ways in which TFA members can help campaign for freedom?  If so, please e-mail the Webmaster.  Any suitable ideas will be added to this page.

VISIT THE HELP YOURSELF PAGE FOR LEAFLETS ETC. THAT YOU CAN DOWNLOAD AND PRINT

Form delegations of 2 or 3 people to meet your local MP, by appointment, to remonstrate with him or her about the way you feel about specific instances of the way our freedom and democracy is being systematically destroyed.
