A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Norris McWhirter CBE was held on Thursday 7 October 2004 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London.  Click here for Memorial Service photographs.

Following the sudden death of Norris McWhirter on 19 April 2004, The Freedom Association was inundated with messages of sympathy and tributes to the man, his life and his work.

Norris's legacy is The Freedom Association which he co-founded in 1975 with the late Viscount de L'Isle.  The greatest tribute The Association can now pay Norris is to continue its campaigns in defence of personal and political freedom.
