We note that hypocrisy has always existed and will continue to do so. After all, such tenacious efforts are made by the public here to impede the vile sermons from naively depraved groups such as the BNP. But some of the same people who would help stop such people appearing on a public platform are regularly involved with genocidal persons who advocate the same destruction of liberty that the BNP do. Thousands demonstrate support for Israel

About two thousand people loudly demonstrated their solidarity with Israel yesterday, outside the Israeli Embassy in London.  The peaceful demonstration dwarfed yet another pro-Hamas demonstration taking place on the same evening.  The pro-Israel crowd, including many Christians and non-Jewish supporters of Israeli's right to self-defence, included many Union Jacks (and some Welsh Dragon flags) alongside the Israeli flags.  God Save the Queen was sung, along with Jewish songs and chants of "Hamas - Terrorists".  The two demonstrations were skilfully kept apart by the police, who received a round of aplause from the pro-Israel demonstrators.  If you missed this demonstration, you can attend a rally in Trafalgar Square this Sunday 11 January from 11.00 a.m. to 12 noon (Assemble 10.40 prompt)  Nearest Tube - Charing Cross Station (Northern and Bakerloo Lines)  For more information tel: 020 7543 5428 or e-mail: solidarityatbod.org.uk  Flags and placards will be provided.  The rally is being organised by the Board of Deputies of British Jews and The Jewish Leadership Council (delivered by Jewish Activities Committee Ltd.) with the support of the major organisations of UK Jewry.

Those who believe in freedom should defend Israel
