Responding to Jeremy Corbyn's speech at the Labour Party Conference this afternoon, Andrew Allison, Head of Campaigns at The Freedom Association, said:
"Jeremy Corbyn mocked Theresa May for finding the magic money tree to pay for the confidence and supply agreement with the DUP, however, other than the usual mantra of "tax the rich", he doesn't have a clue how he is going to pay for his spending commitments which totals tens of billions of pounds. He wants to take the UK back to the bad old days of the 1970s with the return of sweeping trade union powers, rent controls, and nationalised utilities."
"Rather than Socialism for the 21st Century, he is proposing failed policies of the past that will wreck the economy, centralise power, take away freedom of choice, and weaken our national defences."
