Held every year in March, The Freedom Festival is an amazing weekend for anyone who cares about freedom and liberty. You will be able to play an active part in discussions and debates about the big political, economic and moral issues of the day. Over the weekend those who attend rub shoulders with some of the most inspirational pro-freedom speakers from across the UK and overseas, including writers, politicians, academics, journalists, economists and philosophers.
We’re expanding the Festival for 2017, so, while the main events will continue to be held at the Marsham Court Hotel, for those of you who would like a change of scenery, you will now also be able to stay at the Hotel Miramar, just a 3-minute walk away, for a small additional charge. Only 10 rooms are available at The Miramar – when they’re gone, they’re gone! (Please note: all rooms at the Hotel Miramar have now sold out. Rooms at the Marsham Court Hotel are going quickly. Book early to avoid disappointment)
The Miramar will also be the setting for a drinks reception, two-course dinner and coffee on the Friday evening – all included in the price of the Festival. You’ll enjoy the elegant, traditional style of The Miramar. J.R.R. Tolkien – author of Lord of the Rings andThe Hobbit – holidayed there regularly from the 1950s to the 1970s, so Dr. Ted Bromund, Senior Research Fellow at The Heritage Foundation, and a Freedom Festivalstalwart, will give us a talk on ‘Tolkien and Conservatism’ – a subject on which he is an expert authority.

For those of you arriving on Friday afternoon, we have arranged afternoon tea and a private viewing of the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum (opposite the Marsham Court Hotel) for a special price of £25.
